When Priyanka Chopra visited Mary Kom at her Langol quarter

When Mary Kom won a Bronze medal for India in the London Olympics, she created history. While the whole nation was celebrating this wonderful achievement, it seems like Sanjay Leela Bhansali was making plans to take it a step further. He signed Priyanka Chopra to essay the role of the champion in the biopic he was making on Mary Kom's life.

Since then, Priyanka is getting herself geared for this big role. Last December, Mary Kom had suggested that it would be great for Priyanka to visit Manipur and have a peek into Mary's life.

"I would like her to be there in Manipur to show the situation, how we are living. That will be very great," Mary Kom had said.

Apparently, this wish of Mary Kom came true when Priyanka Chopra paid the Koms a visit at their Langol quarter. Priyanka will be in Manipur for two days where she will get some insights into the boxer's life.

Right after landing in Imphal Tuhihal Airport, Peecee, accompanied by her bodyguards and few other film crews went straight to Classic Hotel in Imphal. She later met up with the boxer and her family.

Priyanka had started the shoot for this biopic a few days after her dad passed away. Apparently, though Sanjay Leela Bhasali asked her to take her time, Priyanka was keen to get the shoot on floors as this is what her dad would have also liked.

Priyanka is training hard with her physical trainer Samir Jaura to get the right look for the character. However, her trainer mentioned that he does not want her to build extra muscles. He mentioned that he wants her curves to get the right look, and not ruin the femininity.

Well, we're sure this is going to be a great watch. We're already waiting!
